Chandigarh Dhaba

I have a soft corner for Makki di roti and Sarshon ka saag 😍, to have that I went to Chandigarh Dhaba ( as the name says ). The food was good 😋 though the service took a time(which is bearable). Unfortunately it was a veg day for me but I will definitely go again to taste Chicken tikka masala 😍 PS: Don’t forget to try out their lassi.

Visited this on a Friday afternoon, dropped in a bit early around 12 PM, they were just starting. The place was empty, no one else was there yet. Staff were welcoming, ambiance is very good, neatly set up in a small place. Looking at our kid, they themselves offered a high chair, I didn't even ask thinking they wouldn't have it, such a nice gesture. Ordered chicken achari kebab, butter paneer tikka masala, missi roti, butter naan, garlic naan and ended with a sweet lassi. Each and every dish was lip smacking, truly authentic, service was also very fast. Surprised to see such a place in the high tension lane neighborhood, definitely worth visiting.

One look of this place from outside and you will be captivated by the Enfield which is decorated at the entrance of this place. With that being said Chandigarh dhaba has really good ambience but what impressed me was the food here. Visited this place with my family to celebrate an event and everyone were very impressed with the food quality and quantity. We ordered the stuffed tangdi kebab which had a really good amount of chicken kheema stuffing within the tangdi kebab. The Malai Tikka was really soft and flavourful. Moving on to the main course we ordered the butter naan and stuffed kulcha along with their famous boneless butter chicken which again was really good. Somehow during my food exploration i came across this place and i must say I'm impressed with this place both cleanliness and taste wise. If you are looking for some really nice dhaba style North Indian food then do give this place a try. However if you like your food spicy or less spicy please make sure to let the staff know and they will prepare it accordingly. Just a heads-up that parking can be an issue here on busy days considering it is on the main road.
